Clique's
Everyone has a group of friends that they always like to come to at the end of the day. Or, by lunch time. Cliques are just one of the many lovely attributes of high school, and we couldn't find it in our hearts to keep our school from having cliques, as well.
Each Clique is permitted fifteen people. Once a Clique is filled up, it will be crossed out and you will have to find a different Clique to join. Once all of the Cliques have been filled up, they will be re-opened until they gain twenty members, and so on.
If you feel like your character could be in a Clique that we don't have on here, feel free to PM us BEFORE you request a Clique, and we will consider adding it to our list.
Cheerleaders
Legendary. Hot. Gossip Queen.
The three words that can be used to describe any and every girl in this clique. In order to be a cheerleader, you have to be at the top of the social ladder, and you have to be beyond sexy. The Jocks give out attention to these girls like lollipops, and the Cheerleaders will do anything for it. If you're in this clique, you can guarantee backstabbing, drama, and gossip. Non-stop.
Jocks
The Jocks. How do you even begin to describe them?
We can start with the fact that if you see a Cheerleader, nearby, there is a Jock. These guys tend to be hollow-minded, and shallow in their choices of girls. It all kind of evens out with their muscled bodies and lack of drama. They're the school's pride and joy and consist of guys from the Football and Basketball teams. You don't find many guys from other sports in here, but you'll come across the occasional straggler.
Populars {Girls}
These are the girls who haven't managed to climb as socially high as the Cheerleaders, but are still next in line. Not quite wannabees, these girls just didn't have the time or the heart to do cheerleading. That doesn't mean they are any less caniving, two-faced, or skanky as the Cheerleaders, just that they have a different title.
Populars {Boys}
Every girl wishes she could be with a Jock, so that she can wear his jersey and flaunt it to everyone in the school. But, if a girl can't complete that dream, the hoodies and jackets of the Popular Guys are just as good. Popular Girls and Popular Boys were practically made for each other. Sometimes, you'll catch a lucky enough man to get with a Cheerleader. Or, one with enough heart to be with someone below him. But, here at Hawthorne, that RARELY happens.
Hippies
These are those kids who live up to their stereotypical name. Tye-Dye shirts, sandals, hemp bags, and homemade jewelry. Anything and everything you could ask for from an Earth-loving, tree-hugging teenager. You'll see them carrying Walk-mans instead of MP3s and will almost always find Bob Marley in their CD players. They try to be everyone's best friend, and of course, one day, they'll save the Ozone.
Druggies
Practically always baked, these are the kids who don't hang out most of the time, due to the fact that they are too high to hold a decent conversation. Not all of them are always stoned, just most of the time. And, actually, most of them are very fun to be around and can always hook you up. They love to have fun, and to do anything illegal or wild. They wont necessarily always be your best friend. But, they'll sure give you a good time while they are.
Scenesters
These are the Hello Kitty loving, Care Bear wearing, Hot Topic shopping teenagers that everyone loves. Up-beat and constantly happy, they're sure to put a spark in everyone's day. Most of the bi/homosexual people tend to stick to this group, though we're not sure why. However, these kids stick together like Macaroni and Cheese and are 16 going on 7.
Emos
These kids tend to stick to thereselves a lot. Sometimes they'll hang out in small groups. Most of them have had a bad past, and don't really like to trust many people anymore. They usually have a whole lunch table to themselves, and carry all of their books to their classes, rather than stopping at their locker. No one really understands these kids, and I'm not sure if we ever will.
Normals
The Normals. Normal is probably the best way to describe these kids. They kind of drift from group to group, and usually have at least one best friend from each. They don't really hang out with the other "Normals," but more with everyone they meet. You'll never catch them at the same lunch table two days in a row, and usually they'll have odd habits like reading or writing.
