Cheers and shirt skirts? So not me™

So what is little miss vanek doing in the cheerleading fields as most of the people call them? Well she really didn't even know, she had just started walking and had ended up here, not her first choise but hey this is where fate had brought her and she knew there must be a reason so she might as well enjoy the field being empty for once with no stick like girls yelling cheers at the top of their lungs and she liked it. Maybe she would start coming here when no one was here so she could do what ever she wanted.

Kayla walked around the large empty field wondering when the rain was going to start. She had heard it was supose to rain all week and she kind of hoped that it did that way there would be no games so there wouldn't be any loud people going crazy if the team won or lost. Of course kayla liked to party but she couldn't stand loud parties that where after games they were the worst to her, she just preyed that it would rain enough to cancel the game for atleast one more week.

"What's in a name?' kayla said as she walked around the field trying to remember all the lines that she had to know for her next class that she hated beyond belief because it was a bunch of stuck up loud giggly freshmen girls. "gar, i don't feel like being juliet" she groaned to the sky as lighting played around in the sky.

Ryan Jonathon Ross. Who was he anymore? Even he didn't know. He was sick of having to play the famous guy in school. Of using girls he knew were just love sick with someone they thought that they knew, when really all he lived was a lie. He figured he'd be happy again by tomorrow, and he hated feeling this way, but what was a guy supposed to do?

He was sick of having to keep his whole entire past a secret from all of his friends and girlfriends. If they knew the real him, he wouldn't be nearly as popular. And, as sick as it was, he cared how popular he was. Being the outcast for the first part of his life, it was actually very important to him that he be loved for even a small amount of time. He knew he had everything it took to be the perfect little Jock Cool Boy, but that's not who he was on the inside. He still was at school, and despite the fact of his addictions and his rebelliousness, people still liked him. He would never be able to figure this place out.

Jae looked up and noticed that he had managed to carry himself all the way down to the Cheer Field. He hadn't meant to. He was looking at the ground all the while he had been walking and thinking, and this had been where he had ended up. Everything happened for a reason though, and . . . Jae had just spotted his reason.

Walking around the field a good one hundred yards across from him, Jae spotted the one girl that wasn't crazy about him. The one girl that he was really, truly crazy about. Her blonde hair was whipping around her face, making her look even more extravagant in the distance. Jae recalled that he had thick circles of black eyeliner around his eyes and nothing else today. He wore his tight emo pants and a baggy Vans sweatshirt, he hoped it was good enough for her. He kind of acted oblivious, looking at the ground as he walked in her general direction.

It's not like she could hate him anymore.

Don't it feel like something's not right in this kiss tonight?

Everyone loved kayla well almost everyone, the cheerleaders pretty much hated her just because she had the best body out of all of them and could get what ever she wanted with just a pleading smile. Everyone thought that she was little miss never does anything wrong but really when no one's looking there's a whole nother side to kayla and well no one had ever seen it and most likely no one ever would because lets face it that was the side of kayla that no one would like other then the junkies who would kill to have her that way because she would steal anything for anyone, but that wasn't who kayla was now. She was perfect

Kayla's blonde hair was starting to get on her nerves but she wasn't going to put it up just for the simple fact of it would be more of a mess then it already was and with her make-up looking like crap today she didn't need to add anything else to the mess of a kayla. The only thing that she liked about her today was her blue jean mini skirt and her black tank top, her normal out fit type but there was something about it today that made her like it more then normal. Maybe it was the fact that she wasn't being screamed at from all corners to come sit with her 'friends' who knew who really cared..

"Deny thy name and deny thy father and if you wilt not be but shorn my love and i'l no long be a capulet" she siad iwth a sigh to the sky again wishing for the rain to hurry and come so that she could dance around in the rain and act like a little kid again like she had always dreamed about being forever if only she could be alittle kid again. Kayla decided to give up on the play she would have to recite within the next hour, so she did a little twirl like she was a ballerina but when she turned around and saw jae her stomach started doing flip-flops like she had just saw someone for the first time.

She looked at him with a little kid smile as he came closer but today he didn't look like he normaly did, he hadn't spend a good three hours on what he looked like today like he had on most days and for once he didn't look hot he looked just cute which to kayla was so much better then a guy that always tried to impress girls. He looked like there was something wrong with him but she could't tell, she hadn't really known him long enough or well enough to be able to tell when something wasn't right with him but him not looking the way he normally did kinda sent her hints that something wasn't right.

Jae smiled as he saw Kae's face go into shock and liked the fact that he had surprised her. He looked her over and could feel himself start to sweat, even in the cold weather. He wanted to be able to hold her in his arms and just cuddle and kiss, and not do anything like he'd done with all the other girls, but she would never believe that. She would never believe that someone like him could ever be as sensitive as that. He had already made his reputation, and he mine as well stick to it.

He had overheard her attempting to recite Romeo and Juliet, and although she had the lines horiffically wrong, he still went along with it, hoping to impress her, but also hoping to make her laugh. "Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?" He recited. He had had that same class last year, and couldn't get the lines out of his head. He hated Romeo and Juliet, more just Romeo than anything, and he was constantly going over the play again and again in his mind, thinking about what he would have done, and still had those lines memorized.

He smirked at her, wondering what she thought as he looked her up and down and then winced at the thought of himself. Even he knew that emo jeans and basic eyeliner wasn't enough to attract someone as drop-dead gorgeous as Kae. He would deal, though. Maybe he could get closer to her, today. Maybe they could actually become friends. . .

He smiled once again as he felt raindrops start to lay themselves in his dark, elegantly dishevelled hair. He looked up and caught a few of them in his mouth before they started really pounding down. With her in just a mini skirt, Kae had to be freezing, and he didn't see how she could stand the weather. He unzipped his hoodie and held it out towards her, his basic plaid sweatervest revealed underneath. Today was not his best fashion day. As he did so, he recited the lines that would have come after her lines had she spoken them yet, but what woud it hurt to skip ahead a few, after all, he was out to impress her.

Don't it feel like something's not right in this kiss tonight?

Kayla knew that he was pleased she wasn't expecting anyone to show up. It was pretty odd though that he showed up at the same place she did just a little bit later, she was almost scared that he was stalking her but she knew he wasn't because he was a lot of things but he wasn't that and she wasn't going to start thinking of him that way because by the looks of it he had been the exact thing she had, they had both been walking not paying attention and ended up in the exact same place at the exact same time. If that's not fate tell me what is.

Her attemps at remembering all of her lines wasn't going the best in the world but hey she was trying but it was sweet that he was doing it with her, no one would have done that it had been someone else there. She looked deep in thought trying to rememer what she was suppost to say next but all she could remember was the first and that was far from right or at least she thought "'Tis but thy name that is my enemy?" she said in a questioning tone but the shook her head and looked at him as if telling him forgot i even said it. At this point she was pretty sure she was going to just skip class and stay out here or go back to her room she wasn't sure, all she knew is that she was getting these lines wrong and she didn't want to get up in front of the entire class and get them wrong.

Kae could tell that like everyone he was checking her out and at that point she really wished that she had worn something else just for the simple fact that she here away from everything way couldn't she be away from that to? She was used to it in school, and she should be used to it when she was with just one person, but it was still anoyying.
But his simple look she almost couldn't keep herself from doing the same, and that really wasn't her.

She smiled as she felt the rain starting, it was exactly what she had wanted and it seemed to be peacefull. But with her outfit she was starting to get cold which ment she really did want her other clothes that where warmer. Kae smiled as he handed her his hoodie but then he was going to get cold and she didn't want that. "Thank's, but wont you get cold?" she said like she was trying to keep him from getting sick even though she wasn't sure why. They weren't really even friend's, she hardly even knew him and yet she cared about him.

The next lines he said she knew exactly what to say but she didn't know how, it was like he was brainwashing her so that she knew what she was suppost to know.

Jae didn't know what had brought him here, and he didn't really care because she was here and surely that had to mean something? It wasn't everyday that there was no one on this field, and it wasn't everyday that he got to talk to the extravagant Kayla Vanek alone. He wasn't going to make a move or anything, but it was definately worth the alone time just to be able to be with her, it was great. . . at least for him.

He let out a loud laugh at her weak and failed attempt to remember the lines from the famous play that he was a freak for having memorized in the first place. He shook his head at her, but didn't embarrass her by doing anything other than that. He was willing to help her remember her lines, but he didn't know when she had that class, and for all he knew, that was the very class that she was skipping right now. His lucky self was missing out on Calculus, and that definately wasn't hsi best subject. He wasn't sure if he could afford missing another day in that class, but he hated it and didn't really mind if he failed it. He already had all of his Math credits out of the way, and all he really wanted to do was graduate.

Jae noticed the uncomfortable look on Kayla's face and stopped being rude. He restrained himself from scanning her over anymore, but then noticed that she was doing the exact same that he had just been doing. He couldn't help but smirk slightly and look to the ground. At least the sweatervest showed off his pecs. He wanted to laugh, but kept himself from doing so. He didn't really have muscles to show off. Luckily for him, he was naturally skinny, but muscles were a totally other story, and he just wasn't willing to put forth the effort or energy it took to look like all of the other popular guys. At least he stood out among them. (And, he probably had the biggest cock, too. But, he wasn't abuot to say anything about that.)

He shook his head at her as he watched her face brighten and smile in as the rain pelted down on top of them. "Nah, this gay ass sweater will keep me nice and cozy. And, anyways, you look like you could use it much more than I could." Without realizing it, his eyes rolled over her legs from her feet to the bottom of her mini skirt, which just barely covered everything that he wished that he could see. He held out the sweater, further and smiled.

His smile widened even further and he took a step towards her, knowing what lines he needed to say next, the whole story rolling through his head, and him knowing that if he had anything to do about it, she would be his Juliet, and they would have a much happier ending. Right then, he wanted to gather her up and dance with her in the rain, slow dance, waltz, chacha, anything would be good. But, that's the one thing that he wanted the most.

Like a piece to the puzzle that falls into place

Why she was here and why he was here would forever remain a unsolved puzzle but a puzzle that she would forever want to put together because she was truly enjoying this and maybe only god knew why she was happy that she was here. But there was something about him standing there in the rain that was killing her, she just wanted to understand what was happing to her, why she was even thinking about liking heartbreak jae, but maybe if she gave him the chance he wouldn't be heartbreak jae, but the hell if she knew.

Kayla's face started to turn red at her sad no her very sad attempt at trying to find the right words. She couldn't help but laugh at her self and then look at him to see if he was starting to think she was totally crazy like she thought she was. There was one thing that she knew for sure though, she was skipping class because there was no way in hell she was going to have these lines right vy the time she had to go and to be honest she didn't want to leave him for nothing in the world but she couldn't bring her self to admit it to herself.

The color has finally left her face but now it was coming back as he realized she had done the same thing as he had when she felt so uncomfortable. She felt bad that she had returned it scared that she would give him the wrong idea but more afraid that she was going to give herself the wrong idea, but what was the wrong idea? That she was finally seeing she liked him? That she would still wont to stab him when he tried to annoy her? Did she have any idea what she wanted right now? Yes she did, she wanted someone that would treat her worth a damn some one that wouldn't want her just because of her looks, someone that would care.

She smiled at him once more and took the hoodie still worried about him, she had always been worried about things like that. Kae couldn't help but melt when she put it on, it smelled so good, and she didn't want to ever give it back. "Thank's" she said not really sure what to say but then there was this feeling in the pit of her stomace that made her just want to wrap her arms around him and kiss him, out of no where but she controled that because she didn't know if it was the fact that she really did want to or if it was just the attention that wasn't over her being a whore that was getting to her.

Of that tongue's utterance, yet I know the sound:
Art thou not Romeo and a Montague?
She said with a smile playing around on her lips she wasn't sure if she really wanted to say what she was thinking of saying for the simple fact it might end up back firing but there was some part of her that was telling her to just do it. "Why can't you be romeo" she said looking at him and then to the ground. Half of her was screaming at her for doing it and the other half was happy that she had, two sides fighting agaisnt each other.

He knew that Kayla didn't have the best reputation, but neither did he and maybe some greater force that he refuesed to believe in was trying to tell them something by trailing them both here in the middle of a storm all alone in the middle of a school day, when Jae usually wouldn't skip and Kayla usually wouldn't be here. He didn't know and he didn't care. All he did know was that she looked so adorable and hot, and so goddamned fragile standing in the middle of a rainstorm in his too big hoodiie and her too small mini skirt. And, if he could wrap her up and protect her from all of the things that could and would hurt her, that's certainly what he would do.


Jae couldn't help but thinking about how cute she looked when she was embarrassed and wondered if she would be willing to skip her next class to stay out here with him. He had skipped the first three classes of the day, and he was planning on skipping the next two, but he didn't feel like spending that time alone. He would be more than willing to spend it with her. Even if all they did the whole time was recite badly memorized Shakespeare lines back and forth to each other.

Was Jae willing to give up his player status for the one girl that he had secretly admired from afar {Never as close as stalker material, but he was certainly getting there. (;}? Was he willing to give up the life he had had to build up for someone as great and as beautiful as this girl standing right in front of him? Somewhere buried deep inside he knew the answer was yes, but it would take a multitude of courage from him and he wasn't sure if she realized that he was willing to do something so great. After all, he didn't have the best rep with the ladies.

He loved the way she looked in his hoodie and he was sure that his face was practically glowing from the happiness he felt bubbling inside his stomach. She was just so small and adorable, he was sure she looked so much better than he did in that old dilapidated jacket.

"Neither, fair saint, if either thee dislike."

Jae felt himself move even closer to her, and they were barely inches from touching. How badly he wanted to reach down and press those soft lips to his rough own, and he could hardly stand the intensity between the two of them. He smiled at her comment and his eyes glistened with utter joy. Those words were perfect coming from her, the girl he had wanted so badly for these past couple of years. He lost control over himself, then, and as if from a distance, he heard himself mutter, "if you were Juliet, I'd give anything in the world to be that Romeo." And, the next thing he knew, they were pressed together and his arms were wrapped around her back, and they were kissing and all of his dreams were coming true all at once.

And, he must have been dreaming.

Between the two of them their reputation's they weren't the two that would be likely to fall for each other but there was something that was stronger then the both of them forcing them together. No matter how hard she tried to fight it, nothing helped. She thought she was truly going insane because for the first time in her life she felt things she didn't know she could feel, no matter how much she wanted to hate him she couldn't no matter how much she wanted to look at him and just push him away and run as fast as she could away from what she didn't know she couldn't.

Kayla wasn't really one for skipping classes but she would skip them until she died if she could be with him the one guy that she thought wasn't going to just want her for what she looked like or for what he had heard about her. She was willing to throw away everything that she had build up. People tried to break her down every day but no one had ever even made a dent in her wall but something about him was breaking her down faster then she could build it back up.

Kayla knew everything that she had heard about him and she didn't know what to believe. Did she believe what she had heard was true or did she believe that this really was him? Was she falling for the guy that he really was or the guy she thought he was. Could he be this guy for the rest of her life? Or would he be the guy that everyone knew him for tomorrow? Was she willing to test fate? Was she willing to truly throw everything away and chance it all?

As the rain started coming down faster a shiver escaped from her, she hoped he wouldn't notice because he might try and make her go home and then she would never get this chance again, she would never know what she wanted she would always just have to wonder.

She couldn't even say the words that she thought came next she couldn't even breathe right. What's wrong with me she thought to her self as she tried to even her thoughts and breathing out but it wasn't seeming to work and then when he said he give anything to be romeo if she was juliet, she almost fainted right then and there. "And what would our two worlds think" she managed to say before what she had wanted happend even though she at this point thought she had fainted.

She was scared but she couldn't stop, it's what she had wanted, but at the same time she wanted to push him away because she was so afraid of, well everything. But it was perfect, she was in the rain with his hoodie kissing him.

Jae did not want to break away from this kiss, but he could feel Kae going limp in his arms and he thought that she might pass out soon, if she hadn't already. He pulled his face away from hers and saw her eyes looking at him glassily. She wasn't quite gone, yet. He sat down on the soon to be muddy ground and pulled her down with him, into his arms. He kissed her kneck and her cheek and her forhead and let the rain fall onto her to keep her awake, even though he wanted more than anything to protect her from it.

Jae thought that it was the perfect time to pour his heart out to her, to tell her everything he had always felt about her, but how could he reveal such private feelings? Things that no one had ever known. He always made the first move, but right now he felt himself literally shaking from the nervousness running through him. He had an adrenaline rush and he wanted to do so many things at that moment, but he knew in his heart that he would never have the courage to do any of them.

How would she be able to love a boy like him? Someone with a dark and muddy past, someone who would end up being just like his family and would more than likely not make anything of himself. Did she know of his drug usage? Would she care? She had his whole world in her hands at that moment, and she could crush it at her own will or lean up and kiss him and make everything so much better. He would be willing to improve his future for her.

His hair was black from the water and it draped over his eyes in a way that made him look stunningly attractive and he couldn't help but think the same thing about her at that moment. His eyes were seductive as he resisted kissing her more and more and he didn't know how long he could hold is control. She was still laying in his arms and he wished that he knew what she was thinking. And, glad that she didn't know what he was.

He watched the rain trail down her thighs and her shoulders and wished more than anything to be the rain at that very moment. She was so gorgeous and he loved her so much, and if only she knew that for herself.

Kae didn't understand what was happening other then she never whated to be away from him, he was everything that she had ever wanted and when she wasn't looking for anything but a time alone to figure her life out. She wanted to kiss him again, but she knew if she did she might truly faint and it that happened she would waste to much of what little time they had together because she was so sure that it wasn't going to last after today, there was no way it would work. When he kissed her the ways he did she felt like she as going to melt not faint melt, no guy had ever kissed her that way. She almost believed that he would give up everything he had for her.

Kae had been with so many guys in her life time, to the point that people had called her a whore but none of them would compare to this, she wanted to tell him that she wanted it to always be like this, that she didn't want it to go back to their normal lives where they only spoke when she was ready to stab him with something over him trying to get her worked up, no she wanted it to be where he was with her more then just at parties and where she could kiss him if she wanted to and where if she just wanted someone to help her remember her lines he would be there.

How was it possiable for them to even think they could love each other? She was the ideal scene girl, she could be just as high as the cheerleaders if she stopped the little things like listening to the emo songs and the drugs and dressing like a emo, she could be everything they where, why would she throw it away like this? Oh yeah because she wanted the one guy that had made her feel like he cared for her more then her body.

Kae didn't know if she could control herself, the way he looked right now was like someone from the best part of a movie. She leaned up and kissed his lips again before pulling away, "Jae.. I don't want it to go back to the way it was" she said looking at him, knowing that at any moment her entire world could be crushed that she would never be able to look at him without pain sweeping through her.

What she felt right now was something that she never wanted to feel again, she never wanted to feel the pain of waiting for rejection of waiting for her world to be crushed because she wanted her world to be his world and his world to be her world.
